My name is Aubrey Wells, and I am almost 38 years old :) I was brought up in daycare, my mom was a teacher and director my whole life, and I followed her footsteps with the kiddos. My first job in daycare was when I was 20 years old at Payson Christian Childcare and since then I have worked with kids on and off for almost 18 years in many different settings between living in California and Payson. My experience is pretty much all age groups from infant care to school age. I just love them all, so I am always excited to continue to work with all ages.
I love when the children challenge me; they make me always thrive to learn more and be the best I can. I am super excited to move into the toddlers’ class, and I hope to continue to help them grow with their motor skills, brain development, learning about kindness, sharing and empathy and having lots of fun all while learning with in biblical setting, we can't get through the day without Jesus!
Cuddles are my favorite and I am never short of hugs and snuggles.
I am fully open to communication with teachers and parents because we're all in this together. Any advice or information to help me, help the parents, and children I am all ears. It takes a village. Love you all!

I am happily married with four children (one of whom I adopted) and have a total of 14 grandchildren. I began my career being the head teacher at Head Start and since then, worked at numerous Daycare and Childcare Centers and helped run different children ministries in several churches. I have even spent time as a paraprofessional in the public-school SPED Department; all working with children aged 0 – 8 years old.

I had also run my own in-home daycare for 15 years until all four of my children were in school full-time. I have been working here at Angels and Rascals since 2019 before retiring in 2022, only to return in 2023 because I had missed my students so very much!

In our classroom, we try to focus a lot on independence, social skills that build friendships, Bible stories, and potty training. I hope to have each student who is currently on my roster to be potty trained within six weeks with a lot of parent support.

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to watch your children grow.

Children and animals have always been a great passion of mine. Being a mother is my main source of joy; and teaching fulfills me in a similar degree.

I started my teaching career in high school, assisting as a teacher’s aid in our SPED classroom has taught me a lot of tools that I use to teach now. I have been working at Angels and Rascals since 2023 and loving your children is such a delight. This year I would love to support your children as they try new things, reach their milestones, and learn the basics of all being a one-year-old entails. There is such a big world to explore, I enjoy watching their little minds grow as they explore it.

I look forward to having all children in my classroom. Thank you for trusting me with your little miracles.
